Indian oil and gas company ONGC Videsh is interested in investment projects aimed at geological exploration in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Uzbek oil and gas company Uzbekneftegaz JSC announced referring to the meeting between the management of the Uzbekneftegaz JSC and ONGC Videsh.
During the meeting, the parties discussed development of bilateral cooperation.
Senior Vice President, Head of ONGC Videsh Pakhi Ajit Kumar thanked the Uzbek side for organizing the meeting and expressed hope for fruitful cooperation.
Members of the Indian delegation positively assessed the large-scale reforms conducted under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and aimed primarily at developing business and supporting foreign investors.
After the negotiations, the delegation of ONGC Videsh visited the branch of the Uzbek Institute of Geology and Prospecting of Oil and Gas Fields.
