The Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) plans to maintain and boost output capacity of three oilfields in the Persian Gulf waters, a report said.
During a ceremony on Wednesday, IOOC and PetroIran Company signed a contract to increase the production capacity of Siavand, Esfand and Dena offshore oilfields, Mehr news agency reported on October 18.
The contract is expected to be completed in a 20-month period, which will increase crude oil production of the three fields is by 16,000 b/d.
The deal covers drilling, repair, and development of 13 wells in the three fields, including the drilling of four new wells, re-drilling 6 wells and repairing three others.
