Uzbekistan's oil and gas company Uzbekneftegaz and Russia's Rosgeologia signed an agreement on cooperation in the geological study of the subsoil oil and gas, and the development of scientific and technical partnership, Uzbek media reported.
The document provides for involvement of Rosgeologia in the joint geological exploration on the territory of Uzbekistan and neighboring states, including the territory of Russia.
The parties will exchange geological information and data of mutual interest for both sides in the development of new methods of prospecting and exploration of hydrocarbon deposits, the development of a joint program of geological exploration, the exchange of experience in the field of geophysical work and drilling wells.
