Foreign investments pour in for creation of solar plant in Iran's Khomeyn County

A foreign investment commission of Iran’s Khomeyn County (Markazi province) has issued a license for the construction of a 10-megawatt solar power plant with Dutch investments, Hasan Mirzakhani, director general of the Economic Affairs and Finance department of Iran’s Markazi Province, said in an interview with IRNA.

He said that the cost of foreign investments in this project is 6.5 million euros and 20 hectares of land will be provided to the Dutch investor for the creation of a solar power plant.

He added that this Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), the foreign investment commission approved two investment projects regarding the creation of a solar power plant in the Markazi Province.

One more investment project, according to the foreign investor’s appeal, will also be examined by the foreign investment commission next month, he noted.
