Iran may increase oil production by 20 percent, Ramin Qalambor Dezfouli, director for production support and procurement at the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), said in an interview with ISNA.
He said that with the application of sanctions, Iran will certainly face problems. However, the implementation of the Iranian Oil Ministry’s policy will make it possible to easily evade the sanctions, he noted.
“Presently, more than 70 percent of the Iranian oil industry is provided domestically,” he said. “All the products used in the oil industry comply with international standards. All domestic products can fully ensure the needs of the oil industry during the sanctions.”
