Siemens eyes to enlarge service business in Azerbaijan

Siemens AG based in Germany would like to enlarge the service business in Azerbaijan, the company told Trend.

Siemens said that the most important projects the company is pursuing in Azerbaijan are in the manufacturing sector and in the city infrastructure.

Siemens was awarded with a very complex order by Socar/Uniper for 36MW steam turboset, said the company.

“Other key projects are with Bakimetropoliteni CJSC (Baku Metro) comprising DEPO 1 s/s, electrification and tracking substation for the new B Line (purple line) respectively electrification of the substation Icheri Sheher (Old City). We would like to enlarge the service business and provide trainings for the external partners to support after sales service locally,” said Siemens AG.
