In January-November 2018, according to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported 27.14 million tons of oil, which is 9.87 percent more compared to the same period of 2017, Trend reports referring to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
During the reported period, Azerbaijan exported oil worth $14.62 billion (52.3 percent increase over the year).
Exports of petroleum products for the same period amounted to 933,600 tons. Over the year, the figure increased by 27.3 percent. At the same time, revenues from oil exports amounted to $481.04 million. For comparison, this figure was $291.26 million in January-November 2017.
In 2017, according to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported 27.2 million tons of oil worth $10.7 billion, and 835,450 tons of oil products worth $339.16 million.
Oil products in Azerbaijan are manufactured at the Baku oil refinery named after Heydar Aliyev, which is a part of SOCAR.
The State Statistics Committee has earlier reported that in January-October 2018, Azerbaijan produced more than 32.2 million tons of oil and gas condensate, which is approximately the same as in in the same same period of the previous year.
