Azerbaijan produced 4.3 million tons of oil products in January-November 2018 as compared to 3.8 million tons in the same period of 2017, Trend reports referring to Azerbaijan’s State Statistics Committee.
SOCAR, which is the sole producer of oil products in Azerbaijan, is currently modernizing its processing facilities as the fuel consumption has increased in the country.
In total, the volume of production of oil products for 11 months of 2018 amounted to 2.8 million manats (almost 2.5 million manats in January-November 2017).
Azerbaijan produced 4.65 million tons of oil products in 2017 as compared to 5.17 million tons in 2016.
