Solar panels to be installed for nomads' schools in Iranian Khuzestan

Some 2,000 solar panels are planned to be installed in Iran's Khuzestan province in order to supply schools with electricity in areas where the nomads of the province are concentrated, Hamid Ghanbari, head of training and education department for Khuzestan nomads, said, Trend reports via IRNA.

He noted that the the solar panels will be provided by the Khuzestan governorship and the Iranian agency for affairs of nomads.

Schools located in the areas where it is difficult to supply electricity will benefit from the panels, Ghanbari said.

There are 650 schools of nomads in Khuzestan, which provide some 15,500 pupils with education, he said.
