Oil production in Kazakhstan in 2018 amounted to 77.49 million tons, which is 6.3 percent more than in 2017, Trend reports with reference to the Kazakh media.
According to the Statistics Committee of the Kazakh National Economy Ministry, in the reporting period, gas condensate was produced in the amount of 12.86 million tons (3.1 percent down year-on-year), natural gas - 55.49 billion cubic meters (4.8 percent up), and coal - in the amount of 117.79 million tons (4.9 percent up).
At the same time, iron ore was mined in the amount of 41.72 million tons (7.7 percent up), copper ore - 103.17 million tons (8.6 percent up), gold ore - 20.83 million tons (2.9 percent up), and chrome concentrate - in the amount of 4.95 million tons (7.6 percent up).
