A 25 megawatt power plant is set to be built in the Gachsaran District of Iran’s Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, said Davud Rahzadi, Executive Director of the Electricity Distribution Company of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province of Iran,
This station is going to be constructed next to the Gachsaran Electric Terminal, he told IRNA, Trend reports.
Rahzadi also added that the investor has been determined and the necessary equipment for this project has been provided. Hopefully, the station will be commissioned during the first half of the next year (starting from 21st of March 2019).
As an active industrial region, Gachsaran District is the biggest consumer of electricity in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, mainly during the summer.
