Main facilities for the export and storage of Iranian oil have been repaired, and this is one of the achievements of the Iranian revolution in the oil industry, said Director of Iranian Oil Terminals Company Abbas Asadrouz, Trend reports with reference to the company’s website.

He said Iranian Oil Terminals Company, by relying on local potential, is taking positive steps in various fields.

He added that developing active projects at the Neka oil terminal in northern Iran, repairing and upgrading vessels at the Kharg Oil Terminal and updating the Azarpad platform are among the company’s achievements.

He noted that 7 million barrels of oil were exported daily in May 2016.

Iran’s oil exports dropped nearly to 1 million barrels after the US imposed sanctions in November 2018. In November 2018, the US exempted eight countries from the oil import sanctions against Iran for six months.
