SOCAR talks on jet fuel supply to Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan received 2,000 tons of Azerbaijani produced jet fuel as part of the contract signed with trading house of Azerbaijan's state oil company SOCAR, the company told Trend.

“Earlier, Kazakhstan’s KazKontrakt Group signed an agreement with our trading house for supply of Azerbaijani produced TS-1 jet fuel. A total of 2,000 tons of this fuel was supplied in 2017 under the signed contract,” said the company.

SOCAR said that the fuel was transported with tanks on ferry and the supplies were completed in 2017.

SOCAR is the sole producer of petroleum products in Azerbaijan. The company also has filling stations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania and Switzerland.
