Azerbaijan produced 216.8 million manats’ worth of oil products in total in January 2019, which is as 5.6 percent less that the figures for the 1st month of the previous year, Trend reports referring to Azerbaijan’s State Statistics Committee.
SOCAR, which is the sole producer of oil products in Azerbaijan, is currently modernizing its processing facilities as the fuel consumption has increased in the country.
About 381.6 million tons of oil products were produced in the last month (395.9 tons in January 2018).
Azerbaijan produced 4.76 million tons of oil products in 2018 as compared to 4.65 million tons in 2017.
