Azerbaijani state company SOCAR reduced gas losses by 187 million cubic meters in 2018, Trend reports referring to the report of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan on the results of activities for 2018.
According to the report, 3,242 kilometers of pipelines were laid in the country during the year, along with 4 measuring units being built, 1 compressor being installed and 544 kilometers of gas lines being repaired.
During the past year, SOCAR sold 10.6 billion cubic meters of gas and 151,600 tons of liquid gas domestically. The state company also imported about 1.8 billion cubic meters of gas and exported over 1.4 billion cubic meters of gas.
The volume of gas transportation to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic amounted to 237 million cubic meters of gas.
The revenues from the sale of gas in the country amounted to 1.4 billion manats, and to 384.9 million manats for revenues from exports.
