Drilling and repair was carried out at 135 various oil wells of Iran this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), Executive Director of National Iranian Drilling Company Abdollah Mousavi said, Trend reports via Mizan News Agency.
He said that development and drilling was carried out at 60 wells, while 75 wells were repaired.
“Presently, 41 drilling rigs operate at oil fields in south Iran, 2 drilling rigs operate in the central oil zones, 4 drilling rigs operate at the wells belonging to the National Iranian Oil Company, 6 drilling rigs operate at the wells controlled by the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company of Iran, 2 drilling rigs operate at the wells of Iranian Offshore Oil Company, 2 drilling rigs at the wells of Arvandan Oil and Gas Company and 2 drilling rigs at the wells of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) and Azar Oil Field Company,” he said.
He added that several drilling rigs are also being repaired.
