The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan and French company Assystem Engineering and Operation Services S.A.S signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the purpose of mutually beneficial technical cooperation in energy field on May 16, 2019, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
The creation of a joint venture "Uzenerzhinzhiniring" and cooperation in the framework of the nuclear program in Uzbekistan are among the priority areas for further cooperation.
The parties plan to stimulate new forms of technical cooperation, such as project development and project management within the above areas.
The memorandum is valid for three years and can be renewed annually as part of mutual cooperation.
