Deputy Minister of Iran's Road and Urban development Hadi Haghshenas insisted that Iran has not suspended exports of oil cargoes.

"Although the destinations of oil cargoes have been changed but the official exports still continue," he said in an interview with Trend.

The official said the process of loading and unloading of oil and oil products at Iranian ports is being carried out normally, just like previously.

"All the oil cargoes are officially heading to their destinations," Haghshenas said.

"Although, it is undeniable that the volume of oil and oil products has decreased compared to the past, the exports have not been suspended," he said.

Haghshenas indicated that the tactics of Oil Ministry regarding oil and oil products exports have been changed.

Referring to reduction of cargoes in Iranian ports he said that there is no major problem regarding basic imports of goods, and all the ports across the country have basic goods reserves.

"Currently all the programs and decisions relating to this case are to reduce basic goods storage in ports and distribute them faster," said the official.
