Behran Oil, Iranian semi-private lubricant company, annually exports products worth approximately $100 million, said an expert in the company.
The company's expert Mohammad Hasan Ghatmir talked about Behran Oil company's exports in an interview with Trend.
"The statistics for the first two months of current Iranian year (started on March 21, 2019) are not available yet, but in average, Behran Oil Co exports amount to $100 million per year. The company exports its products, which include industrial lubricant, engine coolants, process oil, paraffin wax and base oil, to 40 countries around the world that," he said.
"Behran Oil Co is recognized as one of the biggest producer of industrial and automotive lubricants in the Middle East. It currently produces more than 900 types of products that meet international standards," the expert added.
"In 2018, the company exported paraffin products worth to $7.7 million and products of process oil worth $15.5 million," said Mohammad Hasan Ghatmir.
Behran Oil Co. is the leading lubricant manufacturing company in Iran with dominant market share in terms of automotive and industrial lubricants. It is one of the top thirty worldwide lubricant manufacturing companies.
Behran Oil Company was founded in 1963 as a joint venture of Iranian group and Exxon Mobil Company in Iran. In 1968, its oil refinery with annual production capacity of 30,000 tons was commissioned.
