Revenues of KazMunayGas reach over $4,670M

In 1Q2019, the revenues of Kazakhstan’s national oil company KazMunayGas increased by 20.5 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to 1,765 billion tenge ($4,673 million), Trend reports referring to the press office of the company.

Furthermore, the cost of sales increased by 20 percent on a year-on-year basis and equaled to 1,351 billion tenge ($3,577 million).

During 1Q2019, operating profit of KazMunayGaz increased by 26.7 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to 185 billion tenge ($489 million).

In turn, the net profit of the company increased by 51.4 percent and equaled to 309 billion tenge ($818 million).

The capital expenditures have reduced by 10.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 73 billion tenge ($194 million). Furthermore, the revenue before tax increased by 27.1 percent compared to the same period last year and equaled to 517 billion tenge.

As of 31 March 2019, the gross debt volume decreased by 2.3 percent and reached 4,060 billion tenge ($10,682 million), compared to 31 December 2018. The net debt increased by 9.9 percent and amounted to 2,356 billion tenge ($6,200 million).

Taxes and other obligatory payments volume amounted to 371 billion tenge ($983 million), which is an increase of 28 percent on a year-on-year basis.

Cash and cash equivalents balance as of 31 March 2019 including cash in deposits decreased by 14.3 percent to 1,703 billion tenge ($4,482 million) as compared to 31 December 2018.
