Imports of natural gas down in Georgia

In January-May 2019, Georgia imported 1,302.4 million cubic meters of natural gas, which is 200,400 cubic meters less compared to the same period in 2018, Trend reports with reference to National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).

During the reporting period, natural gas production in Georgia reached four million cubic meters, which is 0.3 million cubic meters more compared to the same period in 2018.

In first five months of 2019, Georgia imported 187,800 tons of coal, which is 4,400 tons less compared to the same period of 2018.

During the reporting period, coal production in Georgia reached 1,000 tons, which is 101,1 thousand tons less compared to the same period of 2018.
