A new oil and gas condensate field was discovered in Uzbekistan at the Mubarek investment block on August 10, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.
A subsidiary of the US Epsilon Development Company LLC is engaged in the development of the field, which has been called Bohoriston.
As reported, drilling of the exploratory well was launched on June 2, 2019. “When testing the well at a depth of 2,445 meters, an influx of oil, condensate and natural gas was obtained with a flow rate of 100,000 cubic meters per day,” read the message.
The obtained hydrocarbon inflow and geological data has indicated the discovery of the new oil and gas condensate field in Uzbekistan.
Now the drilling of the prospecting well continues to the design depth of 3,000 meters. The company also began construction of a new gas pipeline 9.7 km long for transporting hydrocarbons to Mubarek Gas Processing Plant.
