Iran provides necessary conditions for gas offering at energy exchange

The National Iranian Gas Company has agreed to provide necessary conditions to supply gas offering at Iran Energy Exchange, said Managing Director of the IRENEX Seyed Ali Hosseini, Trend reports citing IRNA..

He said that agreements were reached with the company on supply of liquid gas at the energy exchange. “In addition to offering, there were discussions over launch of natural gas contract market," he added.

"Following our agreements, all the warm liquid petroleum gas (LPG) cargos will be offered at the Iran Energy Exchange; however, supplying natural gas is still at the evaluation stage," he said.

"By implementing the development policies and with support of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company ,the vast sale of oil products including gasoline and diesel and kerosene both for domestic and external market has been resumed at the energy exchange," he noted.

“The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company, National Iranian Gas Company and National Iranian Petrochemical Company can support the domestic industries and expand foreign market by offering energy carriers at the energy exchange," he added.
