Turkmen Seydi refinery fulfills plan for product export

In January-July 2019, profit from export of oil products of an oil refinery in Seydi city (East of Turkmenistan) increased to 345.6 million Turkmen manats, Trend reports citing the Turkmennebit State Concern.

In the seven months of 2019, more than 324,600 tons of raw materials were processed, and the plan was over-fulfilled by 116.6 percent.

Compared to the same period last year, the growth rate was 106 percent. The plan for the production of diesel fuel was fulfilled, and about 450 tons were produced.

The launch of a rig for the production of bitumen at the plant, which meets high standards, has affects the increase in the output of this product. From the beginning of the year, bitumen production amounted to about 19,000 tons.

About 2,850 tons of bitumen were produced over the plan.

Turkmenistan annually produces about 10 million tons of oil. The production is ensured by the Turkmennebit State Concern and companies from the UK, Malaysia, and the UAE operating in the country on the basis of PSAs. The main processing of raw materials is provided by a refinery in Turkmenbashi city in the west of Turkmenistan.
