Gasoline and diesel put up for sale on Iran Energy Exchange

Oil, gasoline and diesel were put up for sale on the Iran Energy Exchange on Aug. 27, Trend reports referring to the Securities and Exchange News Agency (SENA).

National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company put up for sale 1,000 tons of diesel at the price of $567. Some 500 tons of this product was sold at 31.9 billion rials (about $281,000).

The company offered for sale 3,000 tons of octane 95 at $640 per ton and 2,000 tons were sold at this price.

The company also put up for sale 5,000 tons of octane 91 at $570 per ton and 500 tons were sold at this price.

The National Iranian Petroleum Company also offered for sale two million barrels of heavy crude oil at the Energy Exchange on Aug. 27. However, so far no data on the oil sale has been disclosed.
