Iran tests evaporation & LPG facility at Isfahan Refinery

The evaporation & LPG facility #3 of the Isfahan Oil Refinery, located in Iran’s Isfahan province, is being tested, Morteza Ebrahimi, executive director of Iran's Isfahan Oil Refinery, said.

The capacity of the facility is 120,000 barrels daily. The test is aimed at improving the quality of oil products and the reliability of the production process, Ebrahimi added, Trend reports referring to Isfahan Refinery’s website.

Ebrahimi added that after the facility is fully commissioned, the quality of the products will improve.

He noted that the diesel filtration facility at the refinery will be put it into operation at the beginning of next Iranian year (March 21, 2020).

The contract to clean the Residue Hydrocracking Unit of the refinery has been signed this Iranian year (started on March 21, 2019) and it is being designed, he said.
