Foreign customers buy LPG at Iran Energy Exchange

Foreign buyers purchased 62,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) valued $16.498 million at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) offering.

The statistics released by IRENEX show that 20,000 tons of LPG of Iran's Persian Gulf Star Oil Company was traded at the energy exchange on Sept. 2, with basic price of $250 per ton, for export to Afghanistan or Pakistan, Trend reports citing IRNA.

Shazand Oil Refinery offered 10,000 tons of LPG of $236 base price at the energy exchange and the cargo has completely sold.

Isfahan Oil Refinery LPG offering of 10,000 tons was sold at $263 base price per ton, while out of 20,000 tons of LPG from Abadan Oil Refinery offered at IRENEX export market at $260 per ton for Iran's eastern border markets, 1,000 tons of the cargo were sold.

Another cargo of 20,000 tons LPG offered by Abadan Oil Refinery Company with price base of $245 under cash payment condition was also sold.

In total, the trading at the Iran Energy Exchange for exports reached $16,498,550.

About 3,000 cubic meters of solvent at the price of $440 per cubic meter from Kermanshah Oil Refining Company were sold for exports.

In domestic market, out of 5,200,000 liters of kerosene offered by the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company, 960,000 liters sold.
