Turkmenistan supplying aerated concrete blocks to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan

The Turkmen local company Ukiply Kardeshler has supplied more than 7,000 cubic meters of aerated concrete blocks to Uzbekistan for buildings and structures, Trend reports referring to Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

The aerated concrete blocks are intended for the construction of Tashkent City facilities, residential buildings in Bukhara, Samarkand and other cities of the neighboring country.

At least 9,000 cubic meters of building materials will be exported to Kazakhstan’s Aktau city in the coming months.

The company’s products are in demand domestically and are used in the construction of facilities of the new administrative center of the Ahal region and housing estate along Makhtumkuli Avenue in western Ashgabat.

The company has been provided with equipment of the German company Wehrhahn. The local raw materials are used in the production. The latest technologies make it possible to produce eco-friendly, lightweight and durable blocks from mineral materials.

Moreover, the company produces glue for aerated concrete blocks and panels, ceramic slabs.

The building materials industry in Turkmenistan is gaining momentum. So, a powerful construction cluster is being created in the industrial zone of Ovadandepe settlement of the Gektepe district of the Turkmen Ahal province. A metal-rolling and reinforcing steel production enterprise, a big aerated concrete plant, a marble and granite processing plant producing facing materials from local natural stone operate here.

The list of products manufactured by local construction companies includes facing stone, cement, bricks, non-metallic building materials, metal structures, plastic and fiberglass pipes.

The company’s priority is the production of cement of various grades: Portland cement (sulfate-resistant cement), used in laying foundations, the construction of hydraulic structures, as well as cement for the oil and gas industry.
