Epsilon announces results of gas production in Uzbekistan

Epsilon Development Company LLC has published data on gas production in the wells of Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.

From September 28 to October 2, 2019, hydraulic fracturing (HF) was successfully carried out at wells No. 1, No. 3, No. 6 and No. 8 of the Ernazar field, reads the message.

The daily flow rate of wells increased: on No. 1 up to 140,000 m³ of gas; on No. 3 up to 160,000 m³ of gas; on No. 8 up to 200,000 m³ of gas.

In addition, the company’s press service reported that on September 30 at 7:14 (GMT +5) the flow rate of the Ernazar-3 well increased to 160,000 cubic meters of natural gas per day. Moreover, on October 2 at 18:00 (GMT+5) the flow rate of the Ernazar-8 well increased to 200,000 cubic meters of natural gas per day.

Epsilon’s total gas production rose to 5.15 million cubic meters per day, reads the message.

In addition, the company noted that 450,000 m³ of natural gas from the Karakara field began to flow to Shurtanneftegaz LLC.

“Yesterday the construction of 28 km of the gas pipeline with the connection of the Karakara field to the main facilities of Shurtanneftegaz was completed. The production rate of well No. 1 is 450,000 cubic meters of gas per day,” the press service said.

The company continues to actively increase hydrocarbon production. The entire volume of gas produced is directed to the domestic market for the population of Uzbekistan.

For the implementation of projects in the Republic of Uzbekistan,a Consortium of Investors has been established with the Thyssen Krupp (Germany), Epsilon Development Company (the US), and Epsilon Asia Limited (Hong Kong).

In the framework of joint activities, “Epsilon Development Company” has already commenced large-scale exploration within the Kultak-Kamashi, Mubarak, Surkhan, Ashibulak, Koskudyk and West Fergana blocks.
