US Epsilon company conducts hydraulic fracturing at two more gas fields in Uzbekistan

US Epsilon development company has stated that after conducting hydraulic fracturing, the flow rate of the Talimarzhan-4 and Ernazar-5 wells of Uzbekistan amounted to 500,000 cubic meters per day, Trend reports citing the company's statement.

According to the decision of the government, all the produced gas is used for population's consuming. Total daily gas production amounted to 5.65 million cubic meters.

The company said that on Oct. 5, hydraulic fracturing was carried out at well No. 4 of the Talimarjan field; on Oct. 9 at 02:30 (GMT+5), the flow rate of the well increased to 250,000 cubic meters per day.

Epsilon also noted that on Oct. 8, hydraulic fracturing was carried out at well No. 5 of the Ernazar field. On the same day at 17:55 (GMT+5), the flow rate of the well increased to 250,000 cubic meters per day.

The main activities of “Epsilon Development Company” are: prospecting, exploration, production and transportation of hydrocarbons and flare gas and oil; construction of industrial facilities; construction of transport communications.

For the implementation of projects in Uzbekistan, a Consortium of Investors has been established with the Thyssen Krupp (Germany), Epsilon Development Company, and Epsilon Asia Limited (Hong Kong).

In the framework of joint activities, “Epsilon Development Company” has already commenced large-scale exploration within the Kultak-Kamashi, Mubarak, Surkhan, Ashibulak, Koskudyk and West Fergana blocks.
