Azerbaijan exports 1,900 tons of oil bitumen to Georgia

Azerbaijan exported 1,900 tons of oil bitumen to Georgia, Trend reports citing the Georgia's Union of Petroleum Products Importers.

In September 2019, the import of oil bitumen to Georgia amounted to 20,000 tons, which is 7,500 tons less than in August.

Some 73 percent (14,600 tons) of imports accounted for the Islamic Republic of Iran. This is followed by Iraq: 3,000 tons (15 percent), Azerbaijan – 1,900 tons (9.5 percent), Turkey - 300 tons (1.5 percent), Russia - 200 tons (0, 1 percent).

The import of oil bitumen from January to September of the current year amounted to 130,500 tons, which is 62,800 tons more than the same period last year (67,700 tons).

In August 2019, imports of oil bitumen to Georgia amounted to 27,500 tons, exceeding the figure of July 2019 by 8,200 tons.

Import of oil bitumen from January to August of the current year amounted to 110,500 tons, which is 52,400 tons more than the same period last year (58,100 tons).

The import of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) into Georgia in September 2019 amounted to 1,600 tons, which is 500 tons less than in August.

Import of liquefied petroleum gas from January to September of the current year amounted to 12,700 tons, which is 1,900 tons more than the same period last year (10,800 tons).

LPG imports to Georgia in August 2019 amounted to 2,100 tons, which is 300 tons more than in July 2019.
