As many as 368 billion cubic meters (13 trillion cubic feet) of gas may be extracted from Iran’s newly discovered Eram gas field, Deputy Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Company Reza Dehghan said, Trend reports citing ISNA.

Dehghan noted that the explored gas field contains 538 billion cubic meters (19 trillion cubic feet) of gas.

The deputy director added that the gas field is located 200 km south of Iran’s Shiraz city, and 60 km north of Iran’s Asalouyeh city.
