Iran discloses volume of electricity supplied by Ilam gas processing company’s power plant

The power plant of a gas processing company in Iran’s western Ilam province supplied 27,500 megawatts of electricity to the country's grid from March 21 through September 22 of this Iranian year, Said Asqari, the representative of the Ilam Gas Processing Company, said, Trend reports referring to the company's website.

“The power plant generated 74,500 megawatts of electricity during the reporting period,” the representative of the company added. “The power plant supplied 15,300 megawatts of electricity to Iran’s power grid for the same period of last year.”

Asqari said that the power plant will continue to supply electricity to Iran’s power grid during the peak hours next years.

The capacity of the Ilam gas processing plant is 6.8 million cubic meters per day. The plant is provided with fuel through the Tang-e-Bijar gas field located in the same province.
