Kazakhstan seeks to increase manufacturing of unique oil and gas equipment

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Nov.19

By Nargiz Sadikhova - Trend:

AtyrauNefteMash LLP, which is a leader in manufacturing equipment for Kazakhstan’s oil energy sector is planning to increase volume of fractionating columns for separation of propane and propylene, a representative of AtyrauNefteMash told Trend.

Earlier this autumn it became known that the manufacturing of fractionating column for separation of propane and propylene is nearing the end in Kazakhstan’s Atyrau region.

As noted by CEO of AtyrauNefteMash Alexander Donskov, this is the only equipment of this size, which is being manufactured in the country. There are no analogues even at oil refineries.

The manufacturing was to be finished on October 13, 2019 according to the agreement.

According to the representative of the company, the column was commissioned by Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industry Inc. (KPI), whereas its general contractor is China National Chemical Engineering company.

The official also added that the venture is planning to increase the fractionating columns manufacturing.

“We have already purchased PEMA welding equipment, which will allow us to accelerate the manufacturing and decrease the reject rate. Expansion of production facilities (35,000 square meters currently) is also underway,” the official said.

Talking about future plans of the venture, the representative noted that AtyrauNefteMash is looking into manufacturing LTCS+Alloy 625 steel tanks, as well as thick-walled tanks.

AtyrauNefteMash LLP is a unique enterprise in Kazakhstan, which specializes in the production of equipment for field development, oil refining, production and collection, and heat and power equipment in demand in the oil, gas and chemical industries.
