ERIELL Group international oilfield services has successfully commissioned, in conjuction with Uzbekistan’s Uzbekneftegaz oil and gas company, well No. 18 at the Kuyi Surgil field in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the company's statement.
The construction of a gas pipeline-loop with a diameter of 108x6 mm and of a length of 1,655 m was completed. The well is connected to the existing gas distribution station (gas collection point) at the Kuyi Surgil field.
The Kuyi Surgil field is located in the Berdakh shaft of the Ustyurt region. Its development is carried out by Uzbekneftegaz JSC. Estimation of the region’s total reserves is about 120 billion cubic meters of gas and about 7 million tons of condensate, which make the Ustyurt plateau the most important source for the increase in hydrocarbon production.
Drilling at the Kuyi Surgil field was carried out as part of the implementation of the Program for increasing hydrocarbon production for 2017-2021.
