Uzbek-French enterprise Uzenergoengineering-Assystem to open in Uzbekistan to design all types of power networks and energy facilities using innovative technologies, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan.
The project of joint venture was developed by Uzenergoengineering JSC and Assystem Engineering & Operation Services (France).
Agreement on JV establishment was signed on 24 September 2019 during a meeting at the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan with representatives of Assystem. The newly established joint venture was registered as Uzenergoengineering-Assyste LLC.
Almost a month after registration, on 14 November, an agreement was signed between JSC “National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan” and Uzenergyengineering - Assystem JV LLC to provide update services of the electrical norms and standards of Uzbekistan.
According to the agreement, the JV is responsible for drawing up a list of current electrical norms and standards in Uzbekistan, which will meet modern international requirements, and for developing a project to update them in accordance with international requirements and taking into account their adaptation in the country.
The French Assystem is in the TOP-5 ranking of international engineering companies, taking the 3rd position.
The company also successfully cooperates in the field of nuclear energy, in particular, with the Russian corporation Rusatom and has implemented projects in Turkey, Egypt and Finland. All their projects meet environmental requirements and strict standards of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
As reported, In Uzbekistan, the company is also ready to cooperate with Uzatom Agency and strives for long-term success.
