Iran’s Pars Oil Company to domestically produce motor oil

Iran’s Pars Oil Company will annually save at least $10 million by domestically producing motor oil, Iran’s Pars Oil Company CEO Hamidreza Khalili said, Trend reports citing IRIB.
Khalili noted that next Iranian year (began March 21, 2020), production of the company’s plant will grow by at least 15 percent and, thus, the supply to the Iranian market will increase.
The company CEO added that Iran’s airline industry needs motor oil worth about 90 million euros per year.
During the next two Iranian years (from March 21, 2020 through March 21, 2022), the company’s exports, which are currently worth $67 million, will increase by at least 20 percent, said Khalili.
Touching upon the company’s export terminal, the CEO noted that this terminal may export about 10,000 tons of products a year.
Iran’s Pars Oil Company produces various industrial oils.
