Uzbekneftegaz JSC received an industrial gas inflow at well #145 at South Kemachi field in Mubarek oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Trend reports citing Uzbekneftegaz press service.
As a result of perforation work performed at 2226 - 2230 meters, an industrial gas inflow with daily flow rate of 70,000 cubic meters and 1.2 tons of gas condensate was obtained.
The South Kemachi oil and gas condensate field is located in the Karaulbazar District of the Bukhara Region and was commissioned in 1978.
Earlier it was reported on completion of perforation work at well #12 of Uzunshor field, Mubarek oil and gas production department. Commercial gas inflow was received with daily flow rate of 200,000 cubic meters.
The national holding company Uzbekneftegaz is a state-owned holding company and the largest state company in Uzbekistan. The company ranks 11th in the world's natural gas production.
At the beginning of 2020, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed Uzbekneftegaz to thoroughly analyze each field it is operating and ensure the increase in gas production.
