The CEO of Iran’s South Pars Gas Complex has said that the highest records were set in last Iranian year (ended on March 20) in South Pars Gas Complex, as 75 percent of the country's gas was produced in this complex.
"COVID-19 is a very serious phenomenon that not only threatens and challenges the public health of Iran, but also all the world`s management elements,” Hadi HashemZadeh Farhang said, Trend reports citing ILNA.
Referring to the self-reliance of the South Pars Gas Complex, he added that the Complex can turn threats into opportunities.
"The year we spent together was one of the most difficult years in the country's gas industry,” he said referring to last year`s serious challenges, including US sanctions, natural disasters like flood, riots in November, threats after attacks on Aramco facilities in Saudi Arabia, the assassination of Gen. Soleimani, and finally, the outbreak of coronavirus in the world.
