The volume of natural gas export of Azerbaijan amounted to 1.39 billion cubic meters from January through March 2020, which is 53.2 percent less compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing the statistical report of the State Customs Committee (SCC).
From January through February 2020, the value of exported natural gas in monetary terms amounted to $161.9 billion, indicating a decrease of 61.9 percent compared to the same period of 2019.
In the first quarter of 2020, Azerbaijan’s export of natural gas amounted to 3.85 percent of the country’s total export.
In 2019, the volume of natural gas export from Azerbaijan amounted to 12.5 billion cubic meters, and the value in monetary terms – to $2.4 billion.
