Iran's Farabi Petrochemical Company’s production increases

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 23

Iranian Farabi Petrochemical Company broke the new record in the production sector in the second month of the current Iranian year (April 20-May 20, 2020), said Mahmoud Fakhrai, the executive director of the company, Trend reports citing the company’s official website.

According to Fakhrai, the company's plant produced 2,098 tons of Phthalic Anhydride flakes (PAF) in the second month.

Fakhrai added that however previously the highest PAF production was in 2008 (1,998 tons).

The director said that the production at the company's plant has continued to grow in recent months, and the company will continue this process.

The plant of Farabi Petrochemical Company is located in the port of Imam Khomeini in the Khuzestan province (southwestern Iran).

Farabi Petrochemical Company produces a total of 40,000 tons of Phthalic Anhydride flakes (PAF), Phthalic Anhydride (PA), dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP), doctyl phthalate (DOP) per year.
