Turkmenistan's Turkmennebitonumleri State Concern is working on overhaul of a 'Zerger' gas station in the country's Lebap region, Trend reports with reference to Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan.
The work includes reconstruction, re-planning, creation of new vertical storage tanks. The work is carried out by Turkmennebitonumleri's own internal construction group,
Modern technologies, materials and equipment are used in the construction process.
As part of the reconstruction, it is planned to install ten new tanks, as well as build a new administrative building in the area.
Turkmennebitonumleri started to expand the network of petrol stations last year. The country also provides fuel and lubricants of its production to domestic market.
Previously, Turkmennebitonumleri completed construction of a gas station in Lebap region, with capacity of serving 750 cars per day.
This gas station was the second one built by Turkmennebitonumleri. A similar facility in Carjew district (formerly Türkmenabat) of this region was built in December last year.
Construction of two new gas stations in Lebap region started in the summer of 2019. In general, the network of modern gas stations equipped to high standards is expanding in Turkmenistan from year to year, which contributes to improving the quality of car service.
Turkmenistan fully provides the domestic market with fuel and lubricants of national production. Some of the refined products are exported to other countries.
