LUKOIL sees rise in sales of petroleum products in Turkey

LUKOIL PETROL DAGITIM VE PAZARLAMA A.S. sold a total of 12,037 tons of petroleum products in Turkey’s domestic market in March 2020, Trend reports citing Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

The company sold 66 tons of gasoline and 11,970 tons of diesel.

This is while in March 2019, the company’s sales of petroleum products in Turkey totaled 5,256 tons, including 5,234 tons of diesel and 21 tons of gasoline.

LUKOIL PETROL DAGITIM VE PAZARLAMA A.S. sold 25,589 tons of petroleum products in Turkey from January through March 2020, versus 13,978 tons in the same period of 2019.

The company sold 154 tons of gasoline and 26,130 tons of diesel in Turkey from January through March 2020, compared to 86 tons of gasoline and 13,892 tons of diesel in the same period of 2019.

PJSC LUKOIL entered the Turkish market in 1998 by starting its bunkering business in the country.

After obtaining a distributor’s license, the company chose to actively promote its fuels in the retail market. Its first gas station opened in Turkey in 2006, and by late 2007 the total number of gas stations reached 70.

The company’s operations in Turkey currently cover the following areas: wholesale and retail marketing of petroleum and gas products, jet fuel, lubes and petrochemicals.
