Iran's Lordegan Company starts selling ammonia gas

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 12

The ammonia gas of Lordegan chemical fertilizer and urea Company in Chahar-Mahal and Bakhtiari Province (southwestern Iran) was sold for the first time, said Executive Director of the company Mohsen Mahmoudi, Trend reports citing Shana news agency.

Mahmoudi noted that 21 tons of ammonia gas was sent to Urmia Petrochemical Company.

The director added that the construction work at the Lordegan Company's plants has been completed and the plants are ready for operation.

"The commissioning of these plants will increase employment in Iran's Chahar-Mahal and Bakhtiari Province and provide fuel for related enterprises," he said

The Lordegan chemical fertilizer and urea Company has three plants for the production of urea and ammonia. The first plant produces urea, the second plant has started to produce 677,000 tons of ammonia. With the commissioning of the third plant, the plant will produce 1 million tons of urea per year.
