To bring the standardization system of Azerbaijan in line with the international standardization system and increase the competitiveness of Naftalan oil, the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute (AZSTAND) has developed AZS 886:2020 ‘Native Naftalan oil. General requirements’ standard and AZSTAND / TK 29 ‘Naftalan oil and products’ standard, Trend reports referring to the AZSTAND.
During the first meeting of the committee for standardization of Naftalan oil and its products, the draft standard was approved by AZSTAND, in agreement with the Mayor’s Office of Naftalan city, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Health, the Naftalan Health Center, the Naftalan Ointment Without Resin LLC and other structures.
According to AZSTAND, the application of the new state standard for naftalan oil will increase the country's competitiveness, improve the quality of services, and develop medical tourism.
