Monetary value of crude petroleum oil export from Kazakhstan to Romania up

Kazakhstan has exported 222,203 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 62.4 million euros to Romania in June 2020, a Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s exported 1.4 million tons of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals worth 470.8 million euros to Romania in 1H2020.

Thus, the June volume of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to Romania is 10.6 percent less than in volume compared to May 2020 (248,566 tons) and is 61.7 times less than in Jan. 2020 (581,168 tons).

June export value is also 33.9 percent more than in May 2020 (46.5 million euros) and is 74.8 percent less than in Jan. 2020 (247.9 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Romania amounted to $779.4 million over 1H2020, compared to $885.4 million during the same period of 2019.

Kazakhstan’s export to Romania amounted to $738.7 million over the period from January through June 2020, compared to $848.5 million during the same period of 2019.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Romania stood at about $40.6 million over the reporting period, compared to $36.8 million during the same period of 2019.
