Drilling companies of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR drilled a total of 150,848 meters in 2019, versus the planned 150,452 meters in 2019, fulfilling the plan by 100.3 percent, Trend reports citing SOCAR.
The total depth of development drilling stood at 140,565 compared to the planned 140,273 meters, while exploration drilling equaled to 10,283 meters versus the planned 10,179 meters.
SOCAR’s drilling companies completed 76 wells, as compared to 82 wells planned for 2019.
Offshore drilling stood at 82,808 meters as compared to the planned 83,482 meters. Around 83,482 meters accounted for development drilling, while 10,283 meters accounted for exploration drilling.
Onshore drilling plan was fulfilled by 101.6 percent with 68,040 meters, as compared to the planned 66,970 meters. The whole volume of drilling accounted for the development drilling.
Well completion offshore and onshore stood at 43 and 36, respectively.
