Turkmenistan’s Gubadagetrapgaz company is working to maintain gas pipelines and uninterrupted gas supply in the winter season in the Dashoguz region of Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to Nebit-Gas newspaper.
The condition of more than 1,350 kilometers of gas pipelines of various pressures, 370 gas distribution, and gas control units is being checked.
Special attention is paid to major repairs, reconstruction, and modernization of gas transportation facilities.
Since the beginning of this year, diagnostics and major repairs of pipes have been carried out in various districts and cities of Turkmenistan for the smooth operation of gas pipelines.
Earlier, work on the reconstruction of gas supply systems, comprehensive instrument inspection of gas pipelines, assessment of their technical condition, and replacement of pipelines was carried out in the Mary region of the country.
As reported, Turkmenistan has exceeded expectations of oil and gas condensate production from January through August 2020.
The estimates of oil and gas condensate production were exceeded by 2.2 percent, natural and associated gas - by 1.2 percent, gas exports – by 0.8 percent, oil refining – by 3.1 percent, gasoline production – by 5.6 percent, diesel fuel production – by 6.3 percent, kerosene production – 6.9.
