Uzbekneftegaz JSC has become a full-fledged member of the SAP Ariba global business network, where76 percent of companies from the Fortune 2000 rating are registered, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz.
Uzbekneftegaz joining SAP Ariba takes place within the framework of the adopted program of digital transformation of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and automation of the company's business processes. Joining SAP Ariba will be implemented jointly with Parma-Telecom international integrator.
SAP Ariba is a comprehensive tool for direct access to suppliers and global sales markets through the largest trading platform operating on a business-to-business model. Today the network covers more than 5.5 million suppliers worldwide and is constantly expanding, with an annual turnover of more than $2.8 trillion.
By joining the global business network SAP Ariba, Uzbekneftegaz will not only transform the procurement process, but also act as a supplier and sell products around the world.
Uzbekneftegaz JSC is a pioneer among state-owned companies of Uzbekistan that are implementing the transition to business digitalization. The company has already completed many projects to automate business processes for industry leaders, including a successful implementation of SAP products for Lukoil in Uzbekistan.
"The SAP Ariba implementation project will increase the transparency of Uzbekneftegaz's procurement processes and increase their efficiency, and minimize paper workflow by transferring it to digital format," said the initiator of the project, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz Shahzod Alirizayev.
