Revenue of Kazakhstan's KazMunayGas plummet year-on-year

Revenue of Kazakhstan’s KazMunayGas National Company has amounted to 3.3 trillion tenge ($8.1 billion) in 9M2020, which is 35 percent down year-on-year, Trend reports with reference to the company.

Company’s Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) decreased by 43.2 percent during the reporting compared to 9M2019 having amounted to 851 billion tenge ($2.08 billion).

The company said that its net profit decreased by 82.8 percent during the reporting period compared to the same period last year to 136 billion tenge ($333 million). Net profit for the period attributable to Equity Holders of the Parent Company amounted to 223 billion tenge ($545 million).

The company’s free cash flow (FCF) was 146 billion tenge ($357 million) during the reporting period as compared to 349 billion tenge ($815.2 million);

The company's net debt amounted to $6.2 billion as of September 30, 2020, having increased by 0.7 percent compared to $6.1 billion at the end of 2019.

In turn, gross debt was at $9.8 billion as of September 30, 2020, down by 1.6 percent compared to December 31, 2019.

KazMunayGas National Company (KMG) is the Kazakhstan operator for exploration, production, refining, and transportation of hydrocarbons, representing the state interests in the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan.
